The purpose of this blog is
to create a temporary meeting point, info exchange etc., for former
members of EvocationMagic.com who find themselves with no central point
of communication.
Although not a member myself (though some of you know me as Lady Eva over on BALG after the Elis*n thing) I was as shocked as anyone by the sudden closure of EM.
I wasn't using the allocated blogspace linked to my public e-mail
account, so thought I'd try and do something constructive for the
magickal community as a whole with it - because it's not a forum, you
may be able to use this blog's link in signatures for other forums where advertising a
forum isn't permitted.
Initially I'm going to open this for three months and/or until new
forums created by the former members of EM are up and running and
capable of drawing people through a simple search.
I'll try and keep it updated and invite anyone who wishes to comment on here with their updates, and also work out a method that suits you best for keeping
in touch with each other via comments here - I don't want to hold any
kind of database but you should be able to link up in some way.
If this works and if a number of people are supportive of this idea,
I'll post new updates about any forums that have been begun or the
public web addresses of any members who wish to make their web presences
known so people can stay in contact.
THE RULE:
Please no commentary criticising Vovin's decision or insulting him, other moderators or admins of EM past or recent, nor any similar content about other occult forums, groups, websites, etc;
no bitching or whining or personal nonsense of that nature WHATSOEVER -
this is a simple idea and if I'm going to put in time like this I hope
you'll respect that and use this as an info-exchange point and nothing
more.
THERE WILL BE NO COMMERCIAL CONTENT OF MY OWN ON THIS BLOG.
I'm a private individual, I don't do magick commercially and have no
commercial interest in or affiliations (beyond posting membership) with
any other forums, groups, or businesses, nor do I have any plans whatsoever in that direction.
There will also be no magick-related articles, musings, or anything of that nature from me - this blog is a one-trick pony.
Comments are open to all, and will be post-moderated by me to remove spam or
anything that breaks THE RULE above. I hope this helps, and if it
doesn't then I hope something even better comes along, and wish you all the best.

Please post anything you want to hook up with former members or discuss setting up new communities etc., I won't remove posts that contain commercials links because you guys often have those kinds of blogs, sites etc. Hope this works and if not I hope it's because something better came along.
